Common problems in the production process of frozen food packaging

The basic requirements for the packaging of frozen food are to maintain the quality characteristics of the product from production, transportation to sales, prevent bacterial contamination, and be convenient for consumption. At present, there are two main types of packaging for frozen food: soft type and hard type. The soft type is based on plastic film. Hard packaging, such as slightly thicker paper packaging boxes and composite aluminum foil stamping containers, accounts for a large proportion of the former.
During the production process, the packaging of frozen food is prone to the following problems:
1. The impact resistance of the bag is poor, and it is easily damaged by external forces during transportation, loading and unloading, and shelf placement, making it prone to bag breakage and opening. This not only affects the appearance of the packaged product, but also cannot play the role that the packaging itself should have;
2. The smoothness of the packaging bag itself is not good, resulting in poor opening and low production efficiency during the production process. At the same time, it can also reduce the usage rate of the packaging bag and cause waste of costs;
3. The insufficient heat sealing strength and high heat sealing temperature of the packaging bag cause damage to the heat sealing layer, resulting in a decrease in the protective performance of the packaging bag and a significant shortening of the shelf life of the content, resulting in the content not reaching the corresponding shelf life;
4. The interlayer peeling strength of packaging bags is small, the tensile strength is insufficient, and the mechanical properties of the packaging bags are poor, resulting in the layering of the packaging bags and the inability of the packaging bags to achieve the expected load-bearing function, which cannot effectively protect the contents;
5. The cold resistance of quick-frozen food does not meet the requirements. Under the condition of low temperature, the original performance of the material cannot be maintained. The packaging material is brittle, which reduces the Strength of materials strength of the packaging material, resulting in the breakage and cracking of the packaging bag, and can not meet the protection of the contents;
6. The function of the easy to tear opening of the packaging bag cannot be effectively exerted. 7. The puncture performance of packaging bags: Frozen food is generally relatively hard after freezing, especially fish and meat products, which contain bones and hard objects. During transportation and stacking, product compression can easily puncture the packaging bags, causing damage to the sealing of the packaging bags. Therefore, frozen food requires high puncture performance of the packaging bags.
